This was a commission to make a remake of an older painting, which you can find here, [link]
I think it's pretty close to the original, there are some colors and things that I really couldnt replicate correctly though, so hopefully she'll like it.
I was commissioned by this lady to make this same painting. For weeks I kept putting it off, mainly, because the original was made 3 years ago for someone who's not so special anymore. And the more I try to get away from that person, the more I seem to keep getting in contact with. So the painting wasnt helping either.
sorry to read about that.. hopefully you have better luck escaping run ins with that individual, for you sanity's sake man.
the painting turned out beautifully though! I love the contrast between the colors used, and the overall vibrance there. There's something about bright colors I've always loved playing with when it comes to paint ^.^ makes me want to bust out my acrylics again!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
